Scott Herren lässt sein Projekt Prefuse 73 wieder aufleben. Rivington Não Rio ist sein erstes Album seit 4 Jahren und das erste nach seinem Rauswurf bei Warp. Das Damenduo Girlpool strickt auf ihrem Debutalbum When The World Was Big minimalirischen LoFi-Pop, der mit Bass, Gitarre und Gesang auskommt. Der Entertainer Rocko Schamoni lässt vergessene Songs der deutschsprachigen Musikgeschichte auferstehen. Die Vergessenen steht der Crooner-Look inklusive Orchestersound ziemlich gut. Für die Power-Pop-Hooklines sorgt Tim Wheeler mit seiner Band Ash. Die Iren veröffentlichen mit Kablammo! Ihr erstes Album seit 8 Jahren.
