Der ehemalige Fleet Foxes Schlagzeuger Josh Tillman aka Father John Misty meldet sich mit einem opulenten Album zurück: I Love You, Honebear ist ein absolutes Hörerlebnis. Der Israelische Musiker Asaf Avidan könnte, zumindest stimmlich, der kleine Bruder von Adele sein. Sehr viel warmer Soul findet sich auf seinem Werk Gold Shadow. Die Kanadische Band Viet Cong klingt nach düsteren, lauten und Post-Punk artigen Gitarren. Ihr Erstlingswerk Viet Cong ist ein aggressiver Trip in die Vergangenheit.
