Live Beat Tapes sind ein 12-köpfiges Kollektiv aus Israel, die auf ihrem Debutalbum Singles weit über den Tellerrand von Rap und Hip Hop schauen. Auf die Reise in andere Galaxien machen sich Mars Needs Women. Ihr Rock’n’Roll Sound wird auch unseren Planeten im Eiltempo infizieren. Travis Bretzer arbeitet sich bei seinem Debut Waxing Romantic an Britische Pop-Helden der Achtziger Jahre ab. Vessels haben ihre Gitarren gegen Computer eingetauscht. Wo vor Jahren noch feinster Post-Rock drinnen steckte, ertönt heute glasklare Elektronik.
