Nicole Willis und ihre Soul Investigators klingen auf Happiness In Every Style wieder fabelhaft retro. Shopping debutieren mit Why Choose auf FatCat Records und bieten den ultimativen Post-Punk. Julia Holter, Kurt Vile, Jono McCleery, kriegen für ihre neuen tollen und beeindruckenden Alben jeweils Höchstpunkte von 10,0. Bei den neuen Alben von Maia Vidal und Barbara Morgenstern reicht es dazu nicht ganz, trotzdem sind auch diese beiden Musikerinnen sehr hörenswert. Kritisch wird es bei den alten Helden von New Order. Auf dem Album Music Complete ist der Band die Innovation mit dem Fortgang von Peter Hook leider abhanden gekommen. Da kann auch Tom Rowlands von den Chemical Brothers als Produzent nicht viel ausrichten.
